VISITOR EXPERIENCE GROUP

VEX is short for Visitor Experience – we use it when talking about the Visitor Experience Group or the Visitor Experience Conference. When we use it to talk about the conference, you will often see the year attached to it. For example, when talking about the 2023 Visitor Experience Conference on Twitter, you will see us use #VEX23.

Visitor Experience encompasses all the tangible and intangible aspects of the presentation of your organization’s mission with which a visitor could interact. It is the perceptions, sentiments, and reactions a visitor has with your institution and ensures that every visitor is granted a pleasant and rewarding experience from pre- to post-visit.

VEX is comprised of a group of volunteers dedicated to improving the field through the programs we offer.
