There are many ways to get involved with the Visitor Experience Group. We started as a small group of volunteers and continue today as a slightly larger group of volunteers! Generally speaking, there is a pathway to involvement with VEX beginning with attending the annual conference or one of our other programs. From there, we've asked attendees to join us as Ambassadors who, as members of the Audience Engagement team, represent VEX in their region. We recruit folks for the Communications, Events & Operations, and Programming teams from the Ambassador pool and from frequent conference attendees. We recruit board members from all of the aforementioned groups in an effort to remain relevant, diverse, and in tune with goings-on in the field.
