Sunday

Sunday Walking Tour, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Penn's Plan for Philadelphia

Join VEX VP and longtime Philly resident Pat Wittwer for his tour focused on William Penn’s original plan for Philadelphia, what parts of it remain, what has been lost, and what we’re currently doing right and wrong. This is a walking tour that will cover over three centuries of Philadelphia history over the course of a 3.5 mile walk. The tour begins and ends in front of the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District at 400 Arch Street. Your ticket grants you access to the tour and the most Philadelphian lunch you can imagine: Wawa hoagies on a pier on the Delaware River.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be mindful of the uneven sidewalks and "historic" paving you will encounter on this walking tour of Historic Philadelphia.

In the event of heavy rain, we will cancel this tour and issue refunds.
