Darnell Williams
Audience Engagement Co-Chair
Darnell Williams began his Field Museum career in 1999 (before the Siragusa Center had been built and the fountains were still a focal point in Stanley Field Hall). Over these past 20 years, Darnell has seen the Museum's floor operations through Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years, and Jurassic World to name a few. As Director, he has always invested in the support and development of his employees both as an asset to the Museum's mission and goals as well as for their growth and success as individuals. In his current role, Darnell is responsible for leading a team that generates admissions revenue (annually $14M-$17M), tracks attendance, and provides exceptional customer service for over 1.2m visitors every year.
