Hi Beth, Always fun running this kind of event and can definitely involve so many local community venders to participate. I think the key for making it so successful the first year is making it so it is enticing for the venders to be involved. * A flat fee per table seems to be the more accessible option for venders so that aspect is settled before the event and the selling of their products is all they have to focus on. * Our organization offers tables, tents, and electricity if needed (a google form would be sent to venders prior asking about their needs so we can prearrange where everyone would be setup). But our organization has also had these tables and tents for years and if you don't have them may be an expense if purchasing or renting them. * In regards to reaching out to artists there would be one point person for venders and artist who would communicate with them leading up to the event. A separate email has been made for them sometimes....then it would be a matter of research, reaching out, and organizing the event based around venders. Having a theme can bring in some fun unique venders you perhaps wouldn't think of. Perhaps theres an aviation themed cocktail or brew that exists (or one that can be specially made), then perhaps hobbiest into the art of aviation, model planes, and maybe even expanding into more futuristic air products like drones. A thing in our area is getting a drone license so perhaps theres a company by you who may want to advertise that kind of thing. Hope this advice sparks some ideas! Mark
